Ropes N Reins 4H Club is hosting a barrel racing clinic on Saturday, January 31, 2009. Ms Patty Jo Higdon is the clinician/instructor. This is our second year to have Ms Higdon come down south and coach the riders in this area. The clinic is open to any age rider and spectators. Riders may bring one or more horses.....there will be a jackpot run on Saturday evening for clinic participants only.Cost of clinic is $100, this includes entry in the jackpot run and lunch. Ms Higdon covers pattern work, horsemanship skills and preparing the horse for competition. Awards are given to fastest time of the day, most improved ride, best horsemanship and best sportmanship. Auditors are welcome also, price is $25, not eligible for any awards but does include lunch. Parents can purchase lunch tickets for $5 each.

There will be a Money Run on Sunday, February 1 . Amount of money to be added will be disclosed at a later date.

Clinic and money run to be held at the Jackson County Horse Arena in Vancleave, MS.
This is a covered pen with stalls and hookups available.
